The intersection of art, science, and architecture

In this study, I explore the forms, systems, and poetics of space: how it embodies values of wellbeing and protection, how it inspires artistic innovation, and how regenerative and circular design could define the next wave of climate-tech materials.
Manifesto of Active Architecture

I believe that building should be active - responsive, regenerative, and connected to its environment- that architecture is a living dialogue between people, materials, and nature. Operating as one system—with each other, with our built environment, and with the natural world.

The study integrates phenomenological reflection with empirical experimentation—combining interviews, laboratory testing, prototyping, and lifecycle mapping. By bridging art, science, and ecology, this research proposes a new material narrative: one in which architecture acts as an active participant within its environment, responding through materiality and regenerative design rather than remaining a passive construct.

The project’s ambition is to develop a practical, carbon-negative tile system capable of decarbonizing real estate through bio-based materials and ecological processes inspired by natural systems. It represents an ongoing exploration—of process as much as product—continually redefining the relationship between matter, making, and meaning within architecture.
